Specialist leak detection since 2011
Adrian Morgan founded ADI in 2011 to find hidden water leaks using specialist, non-invasive equipment. The business grew from a local operation into a service covering England, Scotland and Wales. Today the service trades as ADI Leak Detection through ADI Leak Solutions Ltd.
ADI has 25 engineers across the country, supported by an office team in High Wycombe. The team arranges surveys, answers booking questions and helps customers obtain their reports. The engineer selects the tests for the property, pipework and symptoms.
Its work includes water supply pipes, central and underfloor heating, bathrooms and hidden internal pipework. ADI also investigates roof and structural water ingress, with repair recommendations for the relevant trade.
Finding a leak in a lived-in home
A stained ceiling or a damp floor tells you where water has arrived. The leaking pipe can be somewhere else. Water travels along joists, through floor layers and behind kitchen units before it becomes visible.
Residential Leak Detection brings together the checks and services that homeowners need: a clear explanation of the investigation, preparation for the visit, evidence of the findings and a separate quote for suitable repairs. The aim is to narrow the search before opening finished surfaces.
Houses and flats have different access needs. Tell the office about shared supplies, neighbouring rooms or a managing agent so these can be considered before an engineer arrives.

A clear plan for your home
Start with your postcode and what you have noticed. The team will discuss the property, explain the likely investigation and confirm the quoted price. Mention previous repairs, pressure loss, meter readings and any requirements from your insurer or landlord.
ADI provides the written findings after the visit. Suitable pipework repairs can be quoted separately; access, drying and reinstatement should be agreed as part of the next steps.
